Ulexite is the “TV stone”: parallel borate fibers act as natural optic cables, projecting whatever lies beneath onto the polished top surface — geology's own fiber optics, from California and Turkey. Soft (2.5) and strictly a curiosity for collectors and educators. When ulexite is in stock at GEMIC Institute it is natural, certified in our laboratory and photographed as the exact specimen.
