GEMIC sells gemstones and jewellery.

We do not purchase stones offered by the public, provide free identification from photographs or repair jewellery.

Professional identification and valuation are paid services available by prior arrangement.

Before You Come

Is there an entrance fee to visit the museum?

No. The museum is free to visit, every day from 9:00 to 20:30. You are welcome to look around with no obligation to buy.

Where exactly is GEMIC inside Rose Apple Square?

On the ground floor, in the Retail Zone, on Rose Apple Road, Siem Reap. It is about a one-minute walk from the main entrance of Rose Apple Square.

Are the stones tested, and are the prices shown?

Every stone is tested in our own gemological laboratory on site, and the price is displayed on each item.

Where does your blue zircon come from?

All our blue zircon comes from Ratanakiri, in north-east Cambodia.

Do you sell synthetic stones?

We sell natural gemstones only. Synthetic and man-made stones are kept in the museum for comparison, so you can see the difference for yourself.

Do the stones come with a certificate?

Authenticity is guaranteed and stated on your invoice. A separate written certificate can be issued by our laboratory as a paid service.
