Color-change garnet is one of the rarest garnet phenomena: bluish-green or khaki by day, raspberry to purplish red under lamplight — a natural, untreated color shift rivaling alexandrite, mainly from Madagascar and East Africa (Bekily material is legendary). Hardness 7–7.5.Stock is sporadic by nature; when a stone arrives at GEMIC Institute it is certified by our laboratory and filmed under both lights. Join our request list for first refusal.
